10 Days...

...until Christmas, yaaay! I think I'll spend some more time baking cookies and drinking mulled wine at the Christmas market in the meanwhile. :)

I've always admired people who can actually CREATE pretty things with their own hands....especially because I'm a total flake when it comes to craftsmanship.

So, you can probably imagine, how excited I was, when I received a lovely message from Mascha, a girl from Salzburg who designs and crafts her own jewellery: Maschalina Designs. I admire her because her designs are both: modern and very individual at the same time.

Either Way

At the end of a stressful day at work, you have two options: meeting up with friends in a bar to have a drink (or two), OR just relaaaaxing in bed.

Today I chose the second option :)

Mulled Wine

I know, I'm not the greatest cook in the world...but when it comes to Christmas treats, I'm your guy! ;)

For an awesome pot of mulled wine, you just need two bottles of red wine, some rum (250 ml), sugar (100g), 4 oranges (2 cut in slices, 2 squeezed), 4 cinnamon sticks, some cloves and star anise. Heaten up the wine together with the rum, but don't bring it to the boil. Then reduce the heat and add the sugar, the oranges and the spices. Let it rest for at least 15 minutes - finally take out the spices. And cheers! :)
